After about one hour of training, you and your instructor, (and videographer, if you'd like your jump videoed) will climb to 11,000 feet and exit our aircraft. Together you will freefall at 120 mph for approximately 60 seconds!

Since you are in front of your skydive instructor you will have the sensation of skydiving on your own. Your parachute will open at 5,000' and you begin a 5-6 minute parachute ride back to the landing area for a soft landing. During your parachute descent, you, with the help of your instructor will be steering and performing all kinds of turns, spirals, stalls, parachute loops, and flares. Or if you prefer to just relax and take in the scenery, your instructor will safely glide you back to earth.

LIMITATIONS:

• You must be 18 years old.
• Our weight limit is 230lbs. However, students who weigh 200 lbs and over, need to be aware of the following restrictions:
• Exit altitude may be 8,000' so as to avoid hard parachute opening shocks.
• We retain the discretion to postpone a jump if the conditions are not ideal for landing.
• Due to more loading on our equipment and instructors, there is a $50 charge for students 200lbs and over.

ACCLERATED FREEFALL TRAINING PROGRESSION:

Commonly abbreviated "AFF,” this training method is where certified instructors accompany you in freefall holding onto the parachute’s harness at first while you demonstrate certain skills. It can be compared to learning to ride a bike with training wheels.Throughout the training progression you will acquire skills such as exiting the airplane, maintaining stable and controlled freefall, altitude awareness, how to open your parachute and fly it safely to the ground.You will also learn how to deal with potential emergencies in detail, related to aircraft, equipment or landing.

Your First AFF Training and Jump Includes:

• Six to eight hours of comprehensive training
  (Two Professional Freefall Instructors (USPA Certified) Your personal Dual Square Ram Air Parachutes (main and reserve) for accurate steering and a soft landing equipped with an “Automatic Parachute Deployment” device
  
• Jumpsuit, altimeter, goggles, helmet, radios
  
• Airplane flight up to 10,500′
  
• One minute of freefall accompanied by two instructors
  
• Five minute parachute flight with radio assistance for a safe control and landing
